“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you Not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called friends; for all things that I have Heard of My Father, I have made known unto you (the mysteries). Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the World hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you…”
Jesus gave his life for the world…he poured out his blood and spirit for the world, in order that it might be saved.
He does not consider those that know Him to be servants or slaves…He considers each and every person a friend and part of his family….He does not ask for anything in return, but only loyalty…abiding by His Father’s Word.
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was there place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the Whole World: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels with him. And I heard a loud voice (from one of the Archangels) saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of Our God, and the Power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the “Blood of the Lamb,” and by the Word of their Testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
