“There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall keep thee in all thy ways (those that believe and have shown their honor). They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou shall dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder (1 Peter 5:8- “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour…): the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set (free) his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.”

Chapter: The Importance of Angels in the World
“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels (in order to understand the entire nature of the world), for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for everyone. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings…”
It is critical to recall this information in regards to Jesus…
In the Old Testament we find the phrase “Angel of the Lord,” in which, in almost every case, this messenger is regarded as deity and yet is distinguished from Jehovah (Gen. 16:7-14; Gen. 22:11-18; Gen. 31:11,13; Exod. 3:2-5; Num. 22:22-35; Judg. 6:11-23, 13:2-25;) The pre-incarnate Logos, his appearance in Angelic or human form foreshadowing His coming in the flesh.
He says in Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent my Angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning Star.”
Clue: Jesus is all three…The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Angel of the Lord).
This is how we begin to understand the magnitude of the testing (suffering) that Jesus endured while here on earth. He came as a man, for a little while lower than the Angels. Can you begin to imagine the deception that he faced?
It must have truly been beyond words…(Or beyong Any human comprehension…)
Note: Many Angels have not been able to ever feel comfortable in this world (Lucifer has caused humans to persecute God’s Holy Angels)…because they are not of the world…but, they know where their home is with God…
Additional Note: It is amazing to think that Angels so innocent, beautiful, pure, and Holy have the power to cast evil (Devil Worshippers) into the Lake of Fire… by the power of God…
