The Sword of the Spirit: The Sound of Many Waters
Chapter: The Fall of Man (Pages 59-60…)
Genesis 3:1-5 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he (Remember Satan can take many forms-an entity) said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?” And the woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the tree which is in the “middle” of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, lest you die.” And the serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die.” For god knows that in the day that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Satan attempts to discredit Christ, who is the center of all creation and the cornerstone of society. Satan’s pride resulted in the fall which has been ingrained in our worldly society. Satan opposes meekness and gentleness. Satan favors rebellion and murder.
Satan will use every foul trick imaginable to deceive the world. Satan will use actors and agents of his design, who have also fallen, in the theater of the universe. Be careful not to fall into the traps set out by Satan.
Satan will so completely confuse man that the truth will seem as foolishness to him.
Satan claimed dominion over the earth when Adam and Eve fell, after the temptation from the devil.
Satan has changed God’s creation and order in a degrading way.
Satan uses the tampering of genetics through science and technology to obtain control of people. This is against God’s natural order.
Satan is simply counterfeit to God. Satan also desires that man fall down prostrate before him.
There are more than 500 false religions and denominations, due to the works of Satan.
Remember that Jesus was forced to learn the ways of Satan (For Satan wears many disguises and masks-you might need a little facewash to see him…) in order to prevent (and Overcome-Revelation) man from falling into temptation. Jesus was taught as a pupil how to live according to God’s ways. Jesus, before being transfigured into His divine state, was forced to discover how he would one day overcome death and Satan. Jesus’ education was continuous over the course of His life. Up until the age of around 30 Jesus learned many hard lessons, even up unto His death and resurrection around the age of 33…(Remember that age and time is in God’s hands)…
The Rose is symbolic of the Flower of Life (The New Jerusalem). The Garden is where God created man and where the fall of man took place.
Be mindful of this critical symbolism in recognizing deception, and where it has taken place.
What we need is a program and manual that teaches us how to overcome the craftiness of Satan. The Bible does much of this for us as we read, but a summary from Jesus would make life much easier. Can you imagine all of the answers and knowledge that we will one day be able to gain by knowing Christ and recognizing the truth behind Jesus?
Recognize that Satan does not want man to have the answers. Jesus wants more than anything for you to see by adhering to God’s instruction, not His own. His words have all come from His Heavenly Father. Jesus never fails to acknowledge His Father’s commandments.
He listens carefully and hears His voice…
