A Threatening Stumbling Block

The Sword of The Spirit: The Sound of Many Waters

Chapter: A Threatening Stumbling Block (Pages 337-338….)

1 Corinthians 1:22-25

“For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men…”

Matthew 18:7

“Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes (the son of perdition)!”

Now, it is know that the Star of David (Having 12 external sides) is the message of the Word of God. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is our understanding of the sacrifice that God made by sending His only begotten Son into the world. This is without a doubt the absolute truth. However, it is our job to consider what the cross actually symbolizes…For the Romans, it was a sign used to intimidate and persecute Christians and Anyone who stood up to the Roman Empire. To begin to understand what the cross symbolizes to the writers of the Word of God is to understand and feel the sufferings of Jesus…the depth of the crucifixion…

By careful examination of churches across the world, the symbolic nature of the cross is used as a symbol for the Victory of Jesus Christ. There are many different depictions of the cross, but one can never take away the meaning behind it…

It will forever be a reminder for those that betrayed and murdered the Son of God. You see, those that are of the devil or evil, like to portray the cross upside down as a symbol to mock God and His Son.

It was not until 300 years after the crucifixion of Jesus that the cross became a symbol of salvation and hope…Previous to then, it was a symbol of shame to the world because of the brutality and the savage barabarian way of executing people…

It is important to imagine or envision the Spirit of God on the cross as opposed to a man in our modern world. This helps us to understand the deep symbolic meaning of Jesus dying for our sin…

Key: Part of the crucifixion can be understood by what Jesus was trying to communicate to the world…Knowing that he has been battling for us is understanding his faith in His people..If you can imagine what the writers of the Old and New Testaments went through in communicating messages from God, you may understand what Jesus, himself, went through as the Author of all creation…Remember, he was sent as a man into the world…in order to learn how to communicate to people from a worldly mind set…a language which he was not familiar with, being created in Heaven…

Of course Jesus has the scars and the marks on his body that are his identity…The marks may not always be in the way that you imagined them, but they are there..This is part of the Hidden Truth that we become aware of by listening to God carefully.

Ephesians 6:17

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the “marks” of the Lord Jesus..”

I believe that to understand the true symbol of Christianity is to understand God’s Word of Life and the term “rebirth.” The Jewish people were called and chosen by God, but await the coming of the Messiah. This is a dilemma that only God has the answer to,  but an opportunity awaits for all of those who did not believe, to Now find truth and understanding that they could not perceive before…

By carefully dwelling upon this piece of wisdom, we are able to know how the last book of the Bible, the Revelation to John, may open the eyes of the Jewish people…

Connecting the dots and making sense of the world and God’s words is your job…He gave it to you so that you would have a way out of the situation that you are in…

1 Corinthians 1:18-20 (Unlocking the Secret)

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the Power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath God not made foolish the wisdom of the world?”
