The Sword of The Spirit: The Sound of Many Waters
Chapter: The Skull-Illumination of Truth (Pages 69-71)
Luke 23:33 “And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.”
The skull is a symbol that has been deeply entrenched into the minds of millions of people around the world, as one of death and piracy. The skull and crossbones is a symbol that has been used for centuries and we find it in a great deal of the research that we seek out specifically Masonic or Templar. This is the symbol that the Christian Jesuits found themselves being inaugurated on, and has a mysterious meaning that demands intensive research to reveal the true meaning.
(Key Note): Matthew 27:29-35
And when they had planted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a “Skull”, they gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink…And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet…”
On many ancient pirate ships we often we the symbol of the skull and crossbones. We need to realize that it was not necessarily a symbol of death, but it symbolizes life in many aspects.
By carefully analyzing the Masonic history we can see a vast correlation between this symbol and the Knights Templar, who used it on their ships. By reflecting back into the history of the 13th century, we see that the Knights Templar had obtained their largest fleet and were often known for their acts of piracy. We also see that the Knights of Malta were also well known for piracy and we find that these Maltese Knights were in fact the very same as the Templars.
One other important aspect of the great mystery that we find of the Knights Templar is the significance of the number 9, a mother earth image and a skull.
Note: The Knights Templar were founded in 1118 AD and reestablished in 2013 AD….
The tale of the Holy Blood and Holy Grail can be found to be a critical piece of the puzzle in regards to revealing the true meaning of the symbol itself.
Having carefully evaluated the stories and ‘hidden message’ that the skull and crossbones symbolizes, we find the importance of union and balance, creating a divine state of enlightenment akin to that spoken by the Gnostics, alchemists and mystics.
We must also consider the Lord of Sidon when addressing the true meaning of this ancient symbol. Know that the leaders of Sidon were linked with the Templars and would have seen the Templars banking system as highly important.
In 1291 the Holy Land had fallen to the Muslims, and we see here that the knight by the name of Tiblad Gaudin is thought to have carried off the famous Templar treasure. When Gaudin finally arrived at the Templar port of Sidon he was elected the Grand Master- or Lord. It seems that there were ample financial reserves held at the Sidon Preceptory and so the treasure of the Templars could not have been gold or otherwise it would have been mentioned. The key to understanding is that the treasure was the secret of the Holy Grail.
Sidon is the third-largest city in Lebanon, on the Mediterranean coast, about 40 km north of Tyre and 40 km south of the capital of Beirut. In Genesis, Sidon is the son of Canaan the grandson of Noah. Its name coincides with the modern Arabic word for fishery.
The hidden message from Sidon relates to the Lord of Sidon who was to get the Grail from the Lady Maraclea. This particular name was taken from a site that the Templars had previously held in the 13th century. The site was called Maraclea because it simply means ‘Clear Waters’ or ‘Sea.’ To discover why the Templars used the term and began with the standard etymological practice of breaking the word up into two parts- Mara and Clea- allows us to discover more of the hidden meaning.
Mara in Hebrew means, ‘bitter’ and was a common alternative for Mary- whether the Mother of Jesus or the Magdalene. In Latin it equates to mare, which is ‘water,’ ‘lake,’ ‘sea’ and is linked to ‘horse’ (female horse). In Anglo Saxon the term mara meant ‘greater’ or ‘more.’ In Buddhism Mara is ‘death’ or ‘evil one.’ Mara is said to tempt us like Eve and indeed it was Mara who tempted Buddha on the night before his enlightenment experience. Remember that it was the serpent in the Garden of Eden who supplied the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil to Eve and therefore he was supplying enlightenment just like Buddha (and Eve as Havveh is equated with female serpent.)
Clea means simply ‘to clean,’ ‘to be clear,’ ‘to be pure,’ ‘to be bright’ or ‘to shine!’
This demonstrates the reality of truth found from being purified by the Holy Spirit, having come from the temptation of the evil one, the serpent. The bitterness is critical to understanding the true nature of temptation demonstrated by Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil allowed for evil to come into the world, such as false religion and pillars created by man, worshipping the false prophet…(The Dragon and the beast…)
Revelation 8:10-11 “And the third angel sounded, and a great star (what is this image?) fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters; and the name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter .”
This scripture enlightens us into the true nature of the star that fell from heaven, which is evidently to be compared to the term ‘Mara’ which is a common alternative for Mary and is recognized as being ‘bitter.’ It is critical to research all aspects of the Revelation, in order to discover how we may find a common resolution to the problematic issues that have occurred over time. Resolution is the key objective here. Christ seeks to discover solutions, as opposed to casting blame upon anyone. Heightened awareness is essential to overcoming evil. Honor this statute granted by the Spirit of forgiveness.
The secret is to overcome the Mara of the term, and to become Clea, or “illumined.” Let us be enlightened by the truth which comes from careful analysis of the Bible, which enlightens us to perceive all things according to God.
By reflecting to the Lord of Sidon, possibly a Templar knight, if indeed not a Grand Master, we see the union of gaining critical insight as to the “Greater Shining.’ The Lord of Sidon had experienced the Holy Grail of enlightenment for himself. The result of this union would be the head or skull 9 months later ( although another version says 9 years,) and in reference to the Temple of Jerusalem, the number 9 was of paramount importance to the Templars. The head was also definitely being used as a metaphor for this internal process which takes place from within, the enlightenment of the Holy Grail.
The skull and crossbones is linked to the number 9 and again, enlightenment and the Holy Grail- which are both seen as good, pure, and holy. The Holy Grail is known to be the giver of all good things, the genius behind all creation, eternal salvation, and immortality.
Osiris is the archetypal resurrecting god– a symbol of regeneration, akin to the power of the Templar. The Templar is symbolically the same as Osiris on Earth. No wonder that Christ is called the ‘good shepherd.’
Christians claim that the Chi-Rho form the first two letters of Christ (Cristos) and the historians claim that the symbol can be found hundreds if not thousands of years before Christianity.
An identical symbol to the Chi-Rho has been found and inscribed on rocks dating from 2500 BC Sumeria, and as interpreted as ‘a combination of the two Sun-symbols’- symbols of the ancient shining ones.
The symbol was also used on the coins of Ptolemeus III from 247- 222 BC (Numerology), as well as being an emblem of the Chaldean sky/sun god and has the definition ‘Everlasting Father Sun.’
To many in the second century B.C. the secret monogram lies with the Greek Ptolemy’s who are said to have borrowed it from the Africans. In this scenario the Greeks called their version of Horus, Herecles or Hercules and applying the Greek Xpnc (Chres) to him. This gave the ancient Horus the title Lord, Chrestos, and inevitably ‘Christ.’ This demonstrates the direct association between Horus and the Chi-Rho monogram of Christ.
European scholars have identified Heracles or Hercules as none other than an emblem of Jesus Christ. The titles of the Messiah are directly derived from the word Heru which is of African origin and can be found the world over as a word for the sun.
The understanding that we gain is that Christ will rise again to save the world as a fully divine being and thus become the ‘once and future king.’ It seems as though this tradition came out of Africa, through Egypt and into Greek and Christian legend and brought with it original symbols of Osiris.
The Chi-Rho derives from back in the Constantine Era in which there was vast propaganda device to establish the new Roman, and therefore to become, Catholic Empire.
Elohim is a term used for God and in reality means the ‘Shining Ones,’ the X part of the monogram is also plural (X=10) and is the number of Yahweh. The number 10 here is associated with the Ten Commandments sent to Moses from God. Chi also has a great meaning knows as the ‘Great Fire’ or ‘Light’ or even ‘Shining.’ The P (Rho) part has a direct meaning to ‘Pen’ (pen means, ‘head’) in etymology thus the loop at the top of the P is a head, implying Christ as the head of the church. Pen symbolizes ‘writing’ and the demands of God for His message to be conveyed to the world.
Revelation 1:10-11 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, saying, “Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
X marks the spot in more ways than can be imagined. It is the crossing point of two dual energies and is the centre where the true enlightenment is engaged-where the two opposites meet. With the upright world axis running through the X we also have a dividing line, but it is also a six-pointed symbol and is akin to the Star of David or Seal of Solomon, which is an ancient symbol with much the same meaning. Recall that the true seal of Solomon and Star of David actually has twelve parts, symbolizing the twelve tribes of Israel.
The Illuminati or ‘shining ones’ are those that have chosen to seek out enlightenment which comes by studying the Word of God, and seeking out to discover the hidden things which God intends to reveal through His Son.
Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.”
When we think of the symbol of the skull and the Angel of Death, we should reference the Scripture in the Book of Revelation…
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death…”
We should know that the Angel of Death is with Jesus at all times and the way in which we are judged is by our faith in Christ…How might the Angel of Death appear?
- (Key Notes): Over time there has been a tight connection between the skull and bones image and the skull with wings image. A skull is representative of the transitory nature of life and the death-resurrection cycle. Skulls have been demonstrated over the course of history and called death’s heads or winged death- representing the fleeting nature of life and impending death.. sometimes with crossed bones beneath (representing death and the crucifixion). The skull with bones has also been used to symbolize the flight of the soul from the mortal man into immortality. The quote “Memento Mori” is Latin for remember death. The skull with wings can also be traced back to Freemasonry, where it symbolizes the hieratic structure and the transience of the material world. Going back before the 16th century to the middle ages the skull and crossbones symbol is also used in initiation rituals as a symbol of rebirth. In Kabbalistic rituals, it symbolized the ‘sephirah death’ on the kabbalistic Tree of Life, or the gateway to the higher realms of understanding only achievable through spiritual death and rebirth. In this context a skull did not inspire horror, on the contrary, it has been used as symbol of the promise of a new life. In Astrology the skull symbolizes change. It seems common that there is a common thread here for the winged skull to be used to symbolize death. However, throughout time the meaning has not been absolute death, but rather an emphasis on a spirit transitioning between successive planes of existence between heaven and earth.
- When we imagine God, we should know that his demonstration of death and resurrection is key to His entire message throughout the Bible. Having been crucified by the world and suffered in the depths of darkness, Jesus has the ability to judge righteously and to finish God’s plan for justice. He is the example and the Angels are right there alongside him at all times. They are a part of His Eternal Existence.
- You see, on one side God has offered us the Tree of Life and an opportunity for us to Never see death…but, on the other side God demonstrates how serious he is concerning death… The Angel of Death with the keys that lock the door to Eternal Doom…(also referred to as Eternal “damnation”…)
“And unto the angel of the church in Thayatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;” (The Divine Form of Jesus in the Holy Spirit).
“And the sea and gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works (works are critical to understanding God’s salvation). And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
We do not ever want to know the power of the Angel of Death…He may also be known as as the Angel who may test the world…and protects the Son of God…similar to the Knights Templar…Just by waving his arm (or with a thought), he can wipe out whatever God sees to be evil and rebelling against God’s commandments. (Specifically 10)…
2 Kings 19:34-35
“For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. And it came to pass that night, that the Angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses…”
This is one example of where God commands His Angel to wipe out thousands of evil people (Devil Worshippers)…who work against God’s will…
Just by giving the command, or waving his arm, the Angel of the Lord has the ability to send Legions of Angels to fulfill God’s plan for justice on the earth…This is the great judgment that has fallen upon those that dwell upon the earth….
