My Sacred Prayer

Leap of Faith: Daily Lessons About Jesus Christ

Chapter: My Prayer/Perseverance (Pages 193-195)

The trials that I have face are the result of  God forming me into the man who He needs me to be to fulfill my role and mission. The trials that I must endure are in order to have all things in my life perfected into a state that will last for all of Eternity. We must know that Eternity is very real, and living in a state pleasing to God should be our number one priority. I have faced many trials, and I now know that a great deal of it is out of my control. For so long now, I have always attempted to be a fixer and a pleaser. However, I must take care of myself first, and then all things that God has planned will be revealed. But I have always lived by putting God first, others second, and myself thirdThat is my heart. My focus relies upon the “secrets” that God has yet to reveal to me in fulfilling His plan.

This is where I can find closure to all matters, and this is where I can make sense of all things. Even in the most difficult of circumstances where I cannot find any understanding to the reasons for events that take place, I am able to find hope in knowing that God can heal. God is able to do all things, and I find my hope in what I desire to be in His hands. I will walk with Him until the End. He is my guide and my protection. He is the truth, and His plan is one that will be revealed when He decides to act. No one knows the day or the hour except the Father who is in heaven. He is in control.

I firmly believe that my plan has a very exciting ending, but it has not been an easy road. I know that God will make it happen and that I cannot rush it or force it on my own. When it comes to love, this is the hardest obstacle and tendency to overcome. I have always wanted to see people have their freedom and all of the desires of their heart. I have never felt anything like it, and I do not think I ever will again. Love is the strongest emotion that we can feel and sometimes those with the biggest hearts are the ones who endure the most pain. I put my hope in God and ask Him to help out. I love Him and honor Him.

Even in the most disheartening times, we have to move on and keep fighting for God. We have to allow God to open new doors and lead us into a New place where we find complete happiness and joy with those who have chosen to serve with us. The people who God places in our lives are all here for a reason. I know that everything happens for a reason when we are seeking God, and we learn from our mistakes. We live and we learn. I know how I feel, and I know that my heart belongs to Him. He corrects me when I am wrong, and He gives me strength when I am weak. He gives me reassurance that even when we experience what feels like the worst of circumstances in our trials and tribulations, we find peace and hope through Him. He saves us from those who attempt to take advantage of us, and he helps us to discern all things. I cannot understand all hearts (especially those who are evil), but I do know that there is One person who knows my heart, and that is God the Father.

Key Note: For there comes a time in the world when God will not stand for the evil any longer…

I pray for His help in answering my prayers. I pray that He does not allow anything to happen to those whom I love and those who have had such a significant impact upon my life. I pray that He takes care of those people and leads them into ways of truth and righteousness. I pray that He will heal those who I see hurting and looking for answers. I want them to find their way out of trouble. I pray that He allows that person who is working on discovering their identity to discover it in order to be complete and find fulfillment. I pray that He fills their life with joy and truth. I pray that He helps me to be patient and strong, as I always try to be. (For I have always bowed my knees before my Father in Heaven)…

Matthew 6:6-8

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in Secret; and thy Father which seeth in Secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, do not use vain repetitions, at the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him…”

I pray that God helps me when I am broken down and that He gives me the reassurance that it will all work out. I am putting full trust in Him and asking with all my heart that He will help out where needed. I pray that He will make me understand and teach me how to handle it in the future. I need to know how to handle disappointment. Disappointment is one of the worst feelings that I have encountered so far, and I hope that He can help me with that. I pray that all of this love that I bear can be shared in ways pleasing to Him.

Most gracious heavenly Father, I need your guidance and determination to continue on in my walk. I need you to fill me with your strength to make it to the End. I cannot do it on my own. May your Holy Spirit continue to be my guide and my source of understanding. Amen.

Luke 22: 43-44

“And there appeared an Angel to unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground…”

Luke Chapter 12:3-5

“Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do…But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him…”

  • Important Note: The Reality of the other side:

Numbers 26:10

“And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah (associated and symbolized by the Koran/Rebellion to Moses), when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign (Warning)…”

Psalms 9:17

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and All the nations that forget God (Jesus Christ)…”

Ruler Of God’s Creation

READ Matthew 24:29-31:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Holy Bible-Concordance)

READ 1 Corinthians 15:51-53:

Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raise incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (Holy Bible-Concordance)

DEVOTIONAL

In the last days, the Son of Man will reveal all of the secrets of God. There is a wealth of symbolism in what has been written, and there is also a code to its context. Thinking about the transformation of all of God’s people shall help us to know when this time has come. The mortal putting on immortality and the corrupt putting on incorruption is what we so eagerly await. This information gives us light to the context of the signs that will be during the last days. Remember that Jesus came a first time to bear all of the sin of the world in His body, and He came as a living sacrifice. This is how we understand him, this is

how we know him, and this is how we will know the transformation. Understand that Jesus is immortal and incorruptible at his coming. This is how you will know him. Knowing the battle that is taking place during the last days is important. It is the way to know the battle of Har-magedon. It is important to be on Jesus’s side when this battle takes place, for Jesus will conquer all dominion and authority. There is no one as consistent as Jesus. He can guide you as to how you should help Him in transforming the world. God reveals what you need to know and how to handle any and all situations. He never gives you anything that you cannot handle. He is the beginning and the end—and He never breaks a promise.

Ruler Over Kings Of The Earth

READ 1 Corinthians 15:45-49:

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and after- ward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (Holy Bible-Concordance)

 READ John 1:29-30:

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. (Holy Bible-Concordance)

DEVOTIONAL

In this simple parable, we see that God is con- veying a spiritual message to the world. There is a “coming to Christ” moment for everyone. It is in this moment that we begin to understand what God is asking of us. He desires for us to obtain the understanding that the Bible is constantly restating. There is a living Earth-being and there is a heavenly Spiritual-being. The two are very different. We ought to seek to be not of the image of the Earth, but rather to be heavenly. This is how one may interpret the knowledge of God. Be not of the world, but live according to God and His purpose. We may also gain this understanding in the book of Revelation. Do not worship the Beast or the image of the Earth. Worship God and live with Him as a unified body of believers. Remain true to what God has taught you. Remember, He is to make all things new.

Conclusion: (Pages 139-141)

Hebrews 1:2-4 “God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact repre- sentation of His nature, and upholds all things by the Word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high; having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.”
(NASB)

Hebrews 10:9-10 “…then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Thy will. “ He takes away the first in order to establish the second. By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
(NASB)

John 1:25-27 “And they asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” John answered them saying, “I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know. It is He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.”
(NASB)

John 1:14-15 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, “He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.”

(NASB)

Revelation 22:16-17 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star. And the Spirit and bride say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”
(NASB)
