The Sword of the Spirit: The Sound of Many Waters
Chapter: The Time Has Come (Pages 265-266…)
1 Corinthians 13:11-13 “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
As I consider words that the majority of the public tends to rely on I am often shocked as to how often these few are forgotten. I am struck by the fact that much of society has disregarded God to often rely on human words versus those by which the world was created.
If I were to write a national address it would include three points…those being faith, hope and love. I would be clear as to what that faith is exactly according to how it was written by God. The words of God carry on for all eternity, and our words influenced by God are how we transform society into a state that is pleasing, not in selfish human standards, but to God alone. God is the creator and the author of the world. His words created man and man without God is lost. God in modern day understanding is very broad due to extensive rebellion to all proper truth. How may we begin to argue with God? How do we begin to believe that we, the people, have any right to promote any religion other than that which was ordained by and through God. Remember, by worshipping false gods and religion, God is being crucified. God is Christ in the flesh.
Doing away with childish ways is how we may begin to attain true wisdom and discernment. Childish ways enable rebellion to God’s instruction. When we look at ourselves in the mirror let us know that God desires for everyone to see Him in their reflection. Seeing God may be recognized as perceiving the Holy Spirit. We may not necessarily be able to touch the Holy Spirit, but the light that shines from within a pure soul never dims. It is a constant. Purity is a gift from God. Being pure of heart is what God desires for us.
Let us as the United States of America demonstrate these three
qualities: faith, hope and love.
How might we compare life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to faith, hope and love? This is where we may begin to understand the difference in words of the world versus those of God through Christ….Just think about it…God (Through Christ) is the ONLY one who may grant us Liberty…The rest is an illusion…And why not just say Happiness or Love? For the True Joy and Meaning in Life comes through Christ…For God is Love and with God ALL things are possible…
My hope and prayer is that the world know that this is not a story that was made up by man…this is God’s Promise in fulfillment of Prophecy….Believe and be a part of the Dream…then it will become a reality for YOU…
