Leap of Faith: Daily Lessons About Jesus Christ
Chapter: Unaware (Pages 187-189)
Stubbornness is the reason for people being blinded by sin. Being stubborn or not wanting to address the problematic issues does not allow room for anyone to learn or to be heard. This is the current dilemma with many people in the world. They have not taken the time to hear out God and listen to the truth of which He is attempting to convey. How can we learn and believe unless we listen and look for ourselves? The simple fact is that there are not enough people trying to figure it all out, the “big picture” that is…
My heart goes out to those who are stubborn and not able to comprehend God’s truth. God has not asked much of us but only to adhere to His Word. If you believe in the Word, you shall know all things. The truth shall set you free.
The truth is that God is in charge, and we must listen to His instruction. We must follow His direction and allow Him to lead us to that place. However, you must be able to differentiate between God and Satan….God will provide you with all of the answers. If you deny God, then it all falls apart. There is nothing that compares to the love and truth of God.
Believe in God, trust that He will fulfill all things, and follow His direction. My prayer is that it all may be understood, all of the dynamics, and all of the truth, which He teaches throughout the Bible. He is a provider and a protector. He is our source of all wisdom and understanding. If you have any desire to know, make the effort. It pays off. Trust the Bible. Trust the testimony of Jesus…It will not lead you astray.
Follow the map that God has for you. We are all the same in His eyes as adopted children of God. Do not allow anyone to confuse you. Stay in the Word at all times, and you will not be led astray. Satan’s time has come and the works of his confusion are soon to be destroyed. Mark my word…
Be without deceit, and discern all things. See the spiritual nature of Christ. Allow Him to lead you to that place where we will see no more pain and feel no more persecution…Purity and Truth are God’s heart.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them, and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”
Revelation 21:1-5 (nasb)
“He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. And one of the Seven Angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I shall show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
Revelation 21:7-9 (nasb)
The only people who will understand this are those who are children of God. The children of the devil will not perceive or know the reality of what lies ahead, for they worship the works of evil and deceit versus the works protection, loyalty, honesty, and truth…. The children of God are protected at all times and their heart have been sealed. They are not afraid, because the Holy Spirit of God is with them. Never be afraid. Do what you need to, in order that all of the lost might have a chance at understanding. God cannot be fooled. If you try to fool Him or believe that you can, you are in for a major wake up call that is not to be underestimated. God does not play games when it comes to putting him to the test… God is all truth. He tells you how it is, and what you see is what you get, no faking or deceit. God hates deceit. He will not stand for it. Be honest and live in the spirit at all times, no matter what the circumstances.
How do you know Jesus? Or a better question, how would you know Jesus? He only asks that we read in order to discern all things…That is how you find your answers….
