Leap of Faith: Daily Lessons About Jesus Christ

Chapter: The Nucleus of Society (Pages 137-140)

The nucleus is defined as a central or fundamental part or thing around which others are grouped, the core.

In biology a nucleus is defined as specialized, usually a spherical mass of protoplasm encased in a double membrane, and found in most living eukaryotic cells, directing their growth, metabolism, and reproduction, and functioning in the transmission of genic characters.

In physics the nucleus is defined as the positively charged mass within an atom, composed of neutrons and protons, and possessing most of the mass but occupying only a small fraction of the volume of the atom.

In anatomy the nucleus is a mass of nerve cells in the brain or spinal cord in which nerve fibers form connections.

Let us reflect on how the nucleus of society is the origin of all things. The nucleus of society begins with truth. The nucleus of society is where all of creation begins. The nucleus is where the central point of the world is located. This is where God designed His creation. It all began with a small point in the middle of darkness, and the first sign of creation was the light of the world.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said,

“Let there be light”, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Genesis 1:1-5 (emphasis added) (nasb)

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.

Revelation 22:16 (emphasis added) (nasb)

When we consider the source of all light, we know that the brightest star in our universe is the sun. The sun is the source of all light. But be aware, God is the source of all things. We need to be sure that we acknowledge and serve God as opposed to creation. God is light, and the sun is the ultimate symbol for God’s Son and source of truth for understanding of how all things came to be.

The problem that I have encountered during my life is people pushing and pulling me in different directions. I have experienced a great deal of disruption in confusing the truth and source of all wisdom. The fact is that we need to encourage and seek to find common ground, which originates from God. God helps all people from all religions and ethic backgrounds to discover similarities that will ultimately lead us to the same understanding. Let us be wise and use the sun as a way to discover the common ground between religions. Let us understand that watching a sunrise is one of the most amazing miracles in the world that we are able to see every morning. But also let us acknowledge that after witnessing these miracles God desires for to us to seek Him out and gain further understanding of His Word.

The best example of how we may recognize that the sun is only a part of creation is located in the book of Revelation.

“And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it.”

Revelation 21:22-24 (nasb) (emphasis added)

Now let us see together that there is no need for either the sun or the moon. The sun and the moon are both significant pieces of God’s creation, but the truth rests  within God as the nucleus of all things and the source of the True Light that comes into the world.

Remember when God drew up His creation He started with a small point. I believe that this point of reference can be referred to as Christ, who lives in the heart of every person who asks and seeks Him out. Christ is the source of all information and true wisdom that is granted to every person who desires to know Him.

My solution to problems that I cannot handle is simple. When I ask for help, all that I say is, “God, I know that I cannot resolve this problem, but you can. I am asking for your help and trusting in you to be a Savior to me. I am handing this problem over to you, and I am pleading for you to help. I ask that you fill my heart with the truth, which surpasses all human understanding, and allow Christ to intervene in order that I may no longer carry this burden. Amen.”

Now, let it be clear that Jesus has led us to this place together and has opened our minds in order that we may perceive all things according to God’s will. God’s will is that we seek out to discover the brilliance behind science, which came from God in the beginning. He created the world in a simple brilliant design, and it expanded from there.

“There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John. He came for a witness, that he might bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came that he might bear witness of the light. There was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.”

John 1:6-10 (nasb)

The light of Christ is the nucleus of society. In order for economic solutions, we need to look to that light, the true light, which must be apparent in the heart, which is the nucleus of man, in order to discover real change. The idea is to do away with all of the necessity for worldly objects, such as money…Reducing the necessity will increase spiritual growth for all people…

This is where true transformation of society will restore us back to a Babylon economy…
