Fulfilling Your Duty to God

Leap of Faith: Daily Lessons About Jesus Christ

Chapter: Honoring Responsibility (Pages 157-159)

“He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true riches to you? And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s who will give you that which is your own?”

Luke 16:10-12 (nasb)

The swearing in of the President of the United States specified in Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

We know that God rewards our faithfulness. By honoring our duty to God, we are given much responsibility. That responsibility demands perseverance and dedication to a worthy cause that goes beyond the Constitution of the United States. It demands a closer look into the deep, underlying reality. Our responsibility is to be truthful, responsible, disciplined, and adhere to God’s commandments.

By abiding by the simple commandments from a biblical standpoint, we will succeed. By ignoring God’s commandments, society will continue to demoralize and ultimately fail…This is cut and dry. It is our duty to be honorable individuals at all times and especially when representing the United States of America, “so help me God.”

What does the United States of America stand for? What do the people of the USA expect from elected and appointed officials? What is it that the heart of the public desires?

These questions can be used to discern the correct moves to make. Pay attention to the responses, and be sure to listen attentively. This is a powerful key to making progress.

The White House should consist of the following principle:

Romans 12:5-6 (nasb) says, “So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith.”

I believe that before we ever had a democracy and a president, we were given the direction to pursue… However, this goes to show how we have ignored God throughout much of the course of history. Do we just talk, or do we take action?

The White House needs to be transformed, and the correct parties need to be put into play. Without a new team, things will continue to worsen. I’m not saying that all the players are necessarily bad, but better moves need to be made in the correct direction for the entire world.

Be mindful that Islam teaches that Shari’a must be instituted all over the world for Islam to truly be recognized and honored. This is what all of Islam promotes and teaches… It is completely detrimental to our society. There is acceptance for this radical possibility to occur, in which case no freedom remains…But, behind the scenes in very subtle ways this has been taking place…It is a psychological tactic used by Islam, who is highly educated and master minds at infiltration and corruption…In this case a change of leadership roles is imminent. It is essential to saving society as a whole. This is not a game. Understand the direction that our society has been trending.

Chapter: God Grants Growth through Christ (Pages 105-107)

This chapter is written to address the importance of spiritual growth through Christ. Throughout these scriptures we are able to draw conclusions as you read each piece in the order in which they have been presented. (This is is how I compose my books, page by page, sentence by sentence, work by word…) This is the key behind all of this writing and biblical citation. Keep this in mind as you read through the entire book. By reading it all in the order that I have presented it, you will be able to see through my eyes.

“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babes in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, you are not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.”

1 Corinthians 3:2-7 (nasb) (emphasis added)

This is symbolic of how we are to build, create, live, listen, teach, and dedicate our hearts to God, our Father who art in heaven.

“According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building upon it. But let each man be careful how he builds upon it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 3:10-11 (nasb)

This is the problem that we see in our country and from within our system of political control. This is the core issue, and without change, we will see much strife and lack of understanding on how we may move forward in the correct direction, which is toward God through Christ.

“If any man’s work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire. Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.”

1 Corinthians 3:15-17 (nasb)

Those who are with Christ will not be harmed by the fire. They are chosen and called by God to seek out Jesus and to receive their answers from Him. Until we rise up as Christians and understand that God demands peace in a world full of violence, society will be lost.

The beast is responsible for terrorism, and we see that the events of 9/11 were a sign that was the direct result of Satan confusing people with the authority and power that he provided to the beast.

“And he [the beast] performs great signs [with the information and authority by which he was given], so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth [sword of the false prophet] in the presence of men” (Revelation 13:13, nasb).

This was an attack on US soil by US citizens and a direct result of a lack of leadership by the powers in place. Like I said, subtle infiltration is the means by which this operation was conducted…My question to you is: Would you rather see terrorism and hatred or remove the possibility of the problem by amending and implementing new law that governs society? It removes the ability for people to fuel terrorism…you lay down the law of God… This is an indicator of the current state of the United States. Do the research and connect the dots as to how the rulers, principalities, and powers have been responsible for these actions.

First Corinthians 3:19 (nasb) says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, ‘He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness,’ and again, ‘The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that they are useless’” (emphasis added).
