The Influence and Revelation of the Acts of Radical Islam

Chapter: The Influence of Radical Islam (Pages 347-350)

Intellect verses God. Which is true wisdom? What do we need in order to obtain true wisdom?
Our wisdom as Christians comes from God alone. We can learn from one another in regard to life experiences, but we are to solely look to God for our understanding. When we face challenges, we study God’s Word. When we feel pressure, we study God’s Word, and He sets things straight. God gives us all the reasoning that we need.

The public must understand that He will do whatever it takes to be sure that all things come clear and that we see institutions for what they truly are, being of the world as opposed to God? God will help us to see all persons for who they are. Institutions that teach humanistic values over God’s values are against His will.

All school and education is to begin with God. It begins and ends with God. Have you maintained the direction given to us by God and His Son?

Revelation 22:13 (nasb) says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

First John 4:3-4 (nasb) says, “And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

What does the devil do in order to control the population? The devil is behind the scenes and is using the ways of the world, which are programming and technology, to transform and take away from God’s creation.

The devil uses any and all methods of overtaking the population in order to achieve his sole goal of distracting people away from God’s Word. If we are not being informed of God’s truth according to what the Bible states, then we have been misled. If we have not been brought up in an environment where we learn the Bible, then we are failing as a society.

How can the sun ever truly rise into the United States with circumstances such as these? It will never truly rise until society awakens and begins to the see the truth, which is in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

The problem will continue as long as we ignore Jesus. Society does not see Jesus in His attempts to teach and minister to those who are of the world. Society is blinded by the fact that selfish desire overrides God’s will and His hope to transform mankind back to its original state.

There are so many individuals who have chosen to conform to the ways of the world. There are many who have become lost in their hearts due to society lacking to instill truth and value. What is it that society does not comprehend? Who do you look to when your problems arise? Who do you rely on in order to seek closure to all matters? How does a man get through life when the world is against him? How does a man find peace when he battles the forces of evil on a daily basis? How does man find happiness in a world full of corruption? Why is it that the world will not stand up for what is morally correct in the sight of God? Who is the one that attempts to destroy God’s creation? The antichrist is one that seeks out to be the great destroyer as opposed to empowering God’s people. The antichrist puts pressure on Christians to conform to the world.

Of all the sins I have witnessed, the greatest sin of all is that of persecuting Christians. We are never to persecute or judge. Trust

Jesus to hear the voice of reason and the voice of evil. Jesus knows all things, and He is without deceit. He is loyal unto death and faithful as a son to a father.

Christians hear God’s voice, and they recognize the Trinity. They understand the union of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They can hear the truth and the sound voice of God.

If you rely on Jesus as the one who loves those who love His Father, His heavenly Father, then you cannot be led astray. If you rely on the man of evil who hates Jesus’s Father, then you will be walking blind and dead in spirit. Jesus hears all and sees all just as the Father does. He is the Father of all the world. He only seeks to help society overcome evil and to pinpoint Satan in his disguises and attempts to deceive Christians.

There are so very many that have fallen into the traps set out by the devil. You must wear the full armor of God. You must protect yourself and rely on the Holy Spirit to be your guide.

Most importantly, Satan and radical Islam want to turn everything upside down and backward rather than forward—a critical point to be made clear.

Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:11-12 (nasb)

And pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Ephesians 6:19-20 (nasb)

We are to adhere to God’s Word, and the truth shall set you free… As a leader, be the director. Help them to see it as you do. Help them to know your struggles. Help them to know your strife and efforts to reestablish God’s kingdom. Nothing else matters now.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them, and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

Revelation 21:3-5 (nasb)

Chapter: What Is True Power? (Pages 361-364)

“Power: ability to act; capability of doing or accomplishing something; political or national strength; possession of control or command over others; authority; ascendancy; power over men’s minds; political ascendancy or control in the government of a country, state, etc.” (Merriam- Webster.com).

Power tells us to get along rather than be confrontational or get upset. It encourages us to keep smooth sailing, and it requires that we keep from rocking the boat.

The Bible speaks of the power of God, the power of the gospel, and the power of truth. The New Testament Greek word dunamis means spiritual power.

Following are a couple of examples of moral power and authority. Nelson Mandela exercised his moral power to free South Africa, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights movement used to change the landscape of American life.

Political power can be very dangerous. It is often riddled with the hubris and illusion to which we are all susceptible. The fact is that many religious leaders become corrupted due to political power. Many political leaders tend to gather together and jostle over the best positions and places at the events where the powerful gather.

“Therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say things, and do not do them. And they tie up heavy loads, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as a finger. But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries, and lengthen the tassels of their garments. And they love the place of honor at banquets, and the chief seats in the synagogues.”

Matthew 23:3-6 (nasb)

Religion has always been a key part of American politics and has had reference to God and faith on the part of many presidents, from George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln to Dwight Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

Knowledge is power. Conventional wisdom suggests that the solution to religious fundamentalism is more secularism. This is a huge mistake. The response should be better religion, not secularism. The best response to fundamentalism is to take faith more seriously than fundamentalism usually does. The faith that needs to be instilled should be centered on and around compassion, social justice, peacemaking and humility. To be honest, the assaults of secularism have been the driving force that helped change fundamentalism into the right-wing force that it has become today in the United States.

One simple question that can always be asked in regards to sorting out these issues is: what would Jesus do? Many fundamentalist Christians fail to ask this question and what is more fundamental to Christianity than Jesus?

One of the most conflicting debates of Christian fundamentalist is:

“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever take away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either. Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. And just as you want people to treat you, treat them in the same way.”

Luke 6:27-29 (nasb)

The bottom line is that genuine faith always seeks alternatives to violence and war. This is where self-control and power come back into the picture. Fundamentalism chooses to believe in the myth of redemptive violence that believes that violence can save us after all.

As a community we need to be focusing less on the ideologies of left and right and more about what kind of people we want to be and what kind of world we want to live in. Applying our spiritual gifts and values to politics is the key to success.

One of our major problems is that we have so many secular fundamentalists who attack any and all political figures who dare to speak from their religious convictions.

The fact is that the most progressive social movements in American history—anti-slavery, women’s suffrage, the fight for child labor laws, and the civil rights movement—have been due to religious roots and motivation. Secular fundamentalists also believe that separation of church and state should be the separation of faith from public life. Secular fundamentalists also believe that religion should be restricted to one’s church or family. This is teaching to ignore God in our everyday actions. This can also be called secular persecution. What does the gospel teach us?

If indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister. Now, I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body (which is the church) in filling up that which is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.

Colossians 1:23-24 (emphasis added) (nasb)

Power is evaluated from how a person’s faith shapes his or her political values. The more that the focus is upon God’s values, the better an administration will be run. Do not be a secular fundamentalist and hide your faith, but incorporate it into your example.

We need to be focused upon transforming the world toward justice and instilling faith into the minds and hearts of the people.
