Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: The Coming Day of the Lord (Pages 37-41)

“Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation. For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming day of God, on account of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and new earth, in which righteousness dwells. “

2 Peter 3:3–9

“And about these also Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment upon all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoke against Him.” These are the grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining advantage. But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you in the last time there shall be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts. “

Jude 1:14–19

“After these things I heard, as it were, a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; Because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond-servants on her. And a second time they said, Hallelujah! Her smoke rises up forever and ever. “

Revelation 19:1–2

“And I saw heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True; and in righteousness He judges and wages war. And His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon His head are many diadems; and He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself. And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called the Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe on His thigh He has a name written, “King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. “

Revelation 19:11–15

“And in as much as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Hebrews 9:27–28

And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. “

John 3:19–21

“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross. He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him. “

Acts 5:30–32

And many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.”

John 4:41–42

“Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior.”

Isaiah 45:21

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. “

1 Timothy 4:10

“But now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. “

2 Timothy 1:10

“And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood, fire, and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. “

Joel 2:30–31

Insight To His Sight: Recognzing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: Justice (Pages 43-44)

“God knows all. He knows our intentions and our reasons for actions. I believe in Him, and by studying His word every day, I am being drawn closer to Him. Throughout my life, I have undergone many tough decisions, and I can say today that it has not been easy. Since I was a child, it has been this way. Being twenty- nine years old I am still learning a great deal each day through the challenges that I face. I know that these challenges and the choices that I make inevitably affect the world around me. “

As a true servant of God, I know that He has called me to be an example. I strive in all ways to be this example, and I ask Him for guidance each morning as I rise. I rise each day to help those around me to the best of my ability. I am here to help and to guide. I am by no means ever trying to lead anyone astray. I cannot stand to see people being led astray by those who have devised wicked plans.

Of all the things that I have witnessed in my life, this is what stands out the most. I am here to set things right with the help of God. He is in charge, and I do nothing on my own account, but I listen to Him. By truly seeking His word, we can more easily discern between those who have attempted to destroy through very subtle tactics in creating their own word of truth. Through His word, we obtain peace and find answers to all questions. To know that many have gone out into the world in an attempt to rewrite the original Holy Bible, which was totally inspired by God long ago, is to know the reality of the world that we live in.

We must study the oldest copies available and make comparisons to the new versions, which have gone out into the world. Do not be fooled for there are many who have attempted to deceive with this method.

Finding a Bible such as the American Standard Bible which has both the Hebrew and Greek meanings of key words throughout is where we find how the message was intended to be communicated. We must be aware that the world that we live in contains so much deception even in our churches. This is the reality. Many are being deceived because they simply do not put the time or effort into reading it for themselves.

In this case it is easy to be led astray. God expects more of us than just attending a service. He expects us to find Him through our own personal Bible study. Bible study must be a part of our daily lives. Many things have changed for the worse, and we must be aware that there are antichrists all over. They have infiltrated our lives in every way imaginable.

Chapter: The Watchman’s Duty (45-47)

“And the word of the Lord came to me saying, “Son of man, speak to the sons of your people, and say to them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman; and sees the sword coming upon the land, and he blows on the trumpet and warns the people, then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. ‘He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. ‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand.’ “Now was for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth, and give them warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will be on your hand. But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his own way, and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have deliveredyour life. “

Ezekiel 33:1–9

“Say to them, ‘As I live!” declares the Lord God, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’ “And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens, “The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him in the day of his transgression, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stumble because of it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous man will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.’ When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered ; but in that same iniquity of which he has committed he will die. But when I say to the wicked, ‘ You will surely die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness, if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he will surely live; he shall not die. None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he will surely live.”

Ezekiel 33:11–12

“Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly await for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself. “

Philippians 3:17–21

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things; and the God of peace shall be with you. “

Philippians 4:7–9

Key Note: God has been behind the scenes watching how people with different authority would either help or disregard His Son…Everyone has been given a chance and a choice…To be clear, it does not matter what tactic or manipulation a person may try in order to set up God or trap His Son (this is how we recognize the corrupt from the incorrupt/the persecutors from the defenders/ the wicked from the Holy Spirit)…He has unlimited Power and is untouchable…He was chosen by His Father and appointed the heir of all things both now and in the world to come…Each person’s fate rests within the heart of God…
