God’s Forewarnings

Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: Being Truthful to Ourselves (Pages 211-212…)

“As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”

Ephesians 4:14–16

I am constantly striving to be as honest as possible with myself in regards to life. I am not one to make assumptions or speculate as to the character of another person. It is not my place to do that nor is it anyone else’s job. Only God knows…the thoughts and hearts of each and every person…(You better know what is going on…) I have always tried to maintain the mindset that we are to reach out and touch those who may feel discouraged or alone as many do.

I think that we have all been in the position at some point in our lifetimes. I love to hear people be genuine and say what they really feel not what they think someone wants to hear. This is part of the growth process. Sometimes, being honest may seem hurtful or disheartening, but God wants every one to be their true inner self.

When I say true self I am referring to men and women of God, who seek to become the solid foundations that can help better the world throughout their lives. I strive to be a man of Christ and no longer a child in Christ. I desire the wisdom and knowledge that comes through the Word. I desire to leave the former things behind and begin a new life with Christ, no longer falling into the temptations and deceit.

I desire to not harbor resentments or anger and to hand all of my cares and concerns over to Him for He cares. By working toward knowing God and everything that He is about, we are able to be transformed into powerhouses that withstand any and all strife and conflict that may arise in our lives.

Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: Bible Study (Pages 213-217)

“Now in those days, John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The Voice of One crying in the wilderness, make ready the way of the Lord, make His paths straight!”

Matthew 3:1–3

“As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire and His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Matthew 3:11–12

“But why did you go out? To see a prophet? Yes, I say to you, and one who is more than a prophet. This is the one about whom it is written, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.” Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet He who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you care to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who was to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Matthew 11:9

“For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say He has a demon! The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax-gatherers and sinners! Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”

Matthew 11:18–19

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma…Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Ephesians 5:1–2, 6

“But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, everything that becomes visible is light. For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, And rise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.” Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

Ephesians 5:13–17

“I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow, And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him; The court sat, And the books were opened. Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire. As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time.”

Daniel 7:9–12

“And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”

Romans 1:28

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, But the Righteous Man Shall Live by Faith.”

Romans 1:17

“Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets Who lead my people astray; When they have something to bite with their teeth, They cry, “Peace, “But against him who puts nothing in their mouths, They declare holy war. Therefore it will be night for you—without vision, And darkness for you—without divination. The sun will go down on the prophets, And the day will become dark over them. The seers will be ashamed And the diviners will be embarrassed. Indeed, they will all cover their mouths Because there is no answer from God. On the other hand I am filled with power—With the Spirit of the Lord—And with justice and courage To make known to Jacob his rebellious act, Even to Israel his sin. Now hear this, heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And twist everything that is straight, Who build Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with violent injustice. Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests instruct for a price, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord saying, “Is not the Lord in our midst? Calamity will not come upon us. Therefore on account of you, Zion will be plowed as a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, And the mountain of the temple will become high places of a forest.”

Micah 3:5–12

You see, from God’s experience, people just cannot hear what he has been trying to tell you…forewarnings…His Son is the only reason that people are still here, or at least they appear to still be here (for there are many who are dead and without the Spirit…Those who live in the Holy Spirit only appear at God’s command…their refuge is within the Kingdom of God, which is the Body of Christ…A very Special Division that is not available for the world without God to know or comprehend…The Son of God holds back the floodgates of God’s wrath…but there is only so much time…and it has been written clearly in the Bible…

Pray.

And when you pray, do not pray the way you would like to, but pray the way that Jesus taught you…(Matthew 6:9-13)
