Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: Getting Through the Toughest of Times (Pages 177-180)

Afflictions sometimes do come from God in order to purify the righteous and that this, in no way, indicates that God is unloving. Suffering sometimes instructs us in righteousness and prevents us from sinning. God simply calls us back when we are lost, just as a father chastening his children. He sees the world for what it has become and it hurts him to see people lost…and often when God sees people get lost, it makes him angry that He could not help them…or that they opposed what he was attempting to communicate…

When we face hard times in our lives, do we suffer for no reason? Why must we endure all of the hardship and pain in this life here on earth? I believe that by understanding that God loves us so much that He will do what it takes at all cost to bring us to understanding Him and changing the direction in our lives. Whether it is by what we observe or face personally it is all part of gaining understanding. To know that He has the best intentions for us at hand is to have faith. To know that even when someone suffers, He is always in control of the outcome. When we consider the power of our guardian angels, we should know that they have the ability to take absolute control of the worldly circumstances…They are commanded by God to protect the truth and the innocent…

Of course, I cannot bear to see people suffer and hurt through evil and injustices, but I stand firm in believing that all things that we see are for a specific reason. All events have a purpose. I believe that by seeking Him, he allows us to design our own personal kingdom, and it is not a material kingdom. It is what you make of it with Him at the center. Even the most simple things in life are constantly taken for granted, and for many, those simple things give them fulfillment and bring them joy. What else do we really need other than a way to support ourselves, a place to live, and a way to provide for our family? We leave the rest to God, and if we truly believe, all of our heart’s desires will be revealed.

“Why are times not stored up by the Almighty, And why do those who know Him not see His days? Some remove landmarks; They seize and devour flocks. They drive away the donkey’s of the orphans; They take the widow’s ox for a pledge. They push the needy aside from the road; The poor of the land are made to hide themselves altogether.”

Job 24:1–4

“From the city men groan, And the souls of the wounded cry out; Yet God does not pay attention to folly. Others have been with those who rebel against the light; They do not want to know its ways, Nor abide in its paths.”

Job 24:12–13

“In the dark they dig into houses, They shut themselves up by day; They do not know the light. “For the morning is the same to him as thick darkness, For he is familiar with the terrors of thick darkness.”

Job 24:16–17

“The departed spirits tremble under the waters and their inhabitants…He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness. The pillars of heaven tremble, And are amazed at His rebuke. He quieted the sea with His power. And by His understanding He shattered Rahab. By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent. Behold these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

Job 26:5, 10–14

“Man puts an end to darkness, And to the farthest limit he searches out The rock in gloom and deep shadow…The earth, from it comes food, And underneath it turned up as fire…But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.”

Job 28:3, 5, 12–13

“Where then does wisdom come from? And where is the place of understanding? Thus it is hidden from the eyes of all living, And concealed from the birds of the sky…God understands its way; And He knows its place. For He looks to the ends of the earth, And sees everything under the heavens. When He imparted weight to the wind, And meted out the waters by measure, When He set a limit for the rain, And a course for the thunderbolt, Then He saw it and declared it. He established it and also searched it out. And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.”

Job 28:20–21, 23–28

Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You

Chapter: God is All Knowing (Pages 229-230)

“Do not be envious of evil men, Nor desire to be with them; For their minds devise violence, And their lips talk of trouble.” (Do not be mislead by men or women of the world…you must have discernment and faith that the Angels and God are watching out for you…)

Proverbs 24:1–2

“A wise man is strong, And a man of knowledge increases power. For by wise guidance you will wage war, And in abundance of counselors there is victory. Wisdom is too high for a fool, He does not open his mouth in the gate. He who plans to do evil, Men will call him a schemer.”

Proverbs 24:5–8

“For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Lest the Lord see it and be displeased, And He turn away His anger from him. Do not fret because of evildoers, Or be envious of the wicked; For there will be no future for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out.”

Proverbs 24:16–20

“Do not say, Thus I shall do to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work…(God’s words…)”

Proverbs 24:29 241

“The conclusion, when all has been heard is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”

Ecclesiastes 12:13–14

Do not live in fear…for God is your fortress and the Eternal Blue of the Heavens is Your Inheritance..For we shall all be caught up together with God and removed from any situation that may be a threat or dangerous to us…This is how God has saved many lives, without the world knowing…He would rapture their spirit from their body and they would be safe with Him in realm that cannot be seen by the human eye…No suffering, or heartache, or pain…No tears or mourning…for with God we are eternal and filled by the Holy Spirit which is more powerful than any entity on this earth…
