Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You
Chapter: Reading through Jeremiah A Satire on Idolatry (Pages 173-174)
“Hear the word which the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the Lord, “Do not learn the way of the nations, And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens although the nations are terrified by them; For the customs of the peoples are delusion (Specifically Nihilistic Delusion of Witchcraft-Dark Magic); Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work is of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers so that it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field are they, and they cannot speak; They must be carried, because they cannot walk! Do not fear them, for they can do no harm, nor can they do any good…Who would not fear Thee, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Thy due! For among all the wise men of the nations, And in all their kingdoms, there is none like Thee. But they are altogether stupid and foolish in their discipline of delusion (Illusion-Black Box-Mecca- Modern Technology)-their idol is wood (Modern Day Technology)!…But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, And the nations cannot endure His indignation. Thus you shall say to them, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”
It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens. When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, and brings out of the wind from His storehouses. Every man is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; For his molten images are deceitful, and there is no breath in them. They are worthless, a work of mockery; In the time of their punishment they will perish.”
Jeremiah 10:1–5, 7–8, 10–15
Insight To His Sight: Recognizing God’s Purpose For You
Chapter: Questions (Pages 175-176)
One question that is often drawn to the mind of many people on earth is what happens to those who have not believed in Christ when they die? What happens to those who had the choice but never actually took the road that Christ had set before them? To think that many of our friends and family who have not known the Lord will not be in heaven is a tough subject to address…
It is one that demands full understanding of God’s love and understanding that He is full of compassion. However, God knows our hearts, and by just acknowledging Him does not mean that we can do whatever we want and get away with it, especially in the most subtle ways…Allah is the master of illusion…This is why the law had to be created, and why there had to be consequences for sinful actions. There is not one person on earth who is or ever will be perfect, except for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This is a reality. We all make mistakes and to know that we were put on earth for a specific reason in God’s plan is where we begin to find understanding. By falling, we learn, and by learning from our mistakes, we continue to grow. God’s hope is that we would not fall back into our old ways of living but into our new self in our life with Him, pure and Holy in God’s eyes…
For those who pass away without having ever known the Lord, I believe that He has a plan for them. God is all about second chances, and He wants more than anything for us to figure that out. He is a God of mercy.
Satan has polluted so many people in their minds and ways of living in order to justify their own behaviors and actions. He has deceived and convinced many who do not know any better that they can go and do as they please and their will be no repercussions for their actions. By reading Genesis 3, we are reminded of how crafty and manipulative Satan is in his attempt to destroy all of God’s creation. This is ever present today, and we see it in the lives of many around us.
How else can we be aware of this evil other than reading the word of God, and the Testimony of Jesus? How else can we see clearly through the fog of illusion? You have all that you need to see…it is just a matter of finding the correct resources… It does not require that we do much more than trust in Him. It is all on the basis of faith. Faith is what life is all about. Without faith, what do all of those in desperate help and need have? How do we make sense of the world? How do we get past death of loved ones? How can we get closure to the tragedies that occur in our lifetimes? By ignoring the facts and choosing to not see the truth, we will never have any peace.
My hope is that faith will overcome, I trust in God…His Presence is Beyond Our Comprehension…when he shall appear…and that is when you least expect it…
Day of the Lord
“Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying Peace and safety! then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2–10
“After reading these few verses, I have been thinking about what that day will be like. The only one who knows the time and day is the Father in heaven. But this day is one that will happen when we least expect it. It reminds me of how God is always in control no matter how bad the times may get. He is always with us and has our back 24/7. It is good to keep that in mind at all times, for through Him, we find strength and are courageous as we persevere along the road that he hopes we choose to take. If God is with us, who can be against us?” (Anonymous)…
