God’s Secret: Disclosing God’s Hidden Truths of the Bible

Chapter: Image Of His Person (Pages 7-9)

READ Luke 21:25-28:

“And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son Of Man coming on a cloud (like drops of rain falling from the sky…showers of heaven…) with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” (J. NLT)

READ Revelation 6:12-17:

“I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake (symbolic of shaking the powers of the earth). The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became red as blood. Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind. The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places. Then everyone-the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person- all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they cried out to the moun- tains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand.” (J. NLT)

As we consider prophecy, we see that the powers that have controlled the world for so long—thou-sands of years—will be shaken, and we will see God stir the minds of all of mankind. God will force people to consider what this life is all about and the reason why we are here. There is much symbolism in the writing of John, but also much reality. The coming of Jesus for the second time will create tur- moil for the wicked, and they will be without under- standing. However, those who have eagerly awaited him will be filled with confidence and joy. This joy comes from knowing that the Lamb will overcome all adversity. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The truth of the unusual events that will take place is unknown, but we know that God is all-powerful and will fulfill this prophecy in order that all mankind shall know his son at his coming.

READ Luke 18:6-8:

Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith? (J. NLT)

God’s Secret: Disclosing God’s Hidden Truths of the Bible

Chapter: Intercessor (Pages 10-12)

“They if anyone tells you, “Look, here is the Messiah,” or “There he is,” don’t believe it. For false Messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time! At that time, after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming with the clouds with great power and glory. And he will send out his angels to gather his chosen ones from all over the world-from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven. (J. NLT)

These words help us to see the difference between a false messiah (The Number of a man-Revelation) and the Son of God. (Numerology is key within the Bible)…Bible code…

These words are very significant and remind us that many false prophets and messiahs have risen. Jesus will come with great power and authority, life a thief in the night (not necessarily the way you thought he would appear…that is the coolest part of the second coming…only those whose hearts have been sealed will know him—this is important. Why do we see contradicting ideas? Well, they are not contradicting ideas; they are only warnings and indicators for us to decipher Jesus from the false prophets and messiahs. In the book of Revelation, Jesus is the one who overcomes the Beast and his followers. He overcomes the great harlot, who has corrupted all the kings of the Earth, and he overcomes all of Satan’s tactics. This is critical in knowing Jesus. Watch for all of these events to unfold, for those who have been called from the ends of the Earth by the angels will know the hidden truth. They have the hidden manna, which reveals Jesus at his coming.

God’s Secret: Disclosing God’s Hidden Truths of the Bible

Chapter: Lawgiver (Pages 21-24)

READ Psalm 16:3-5:

“The godly people in the land are my true heroes! Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sac- rifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods. Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine.” (J. NLT)

READ Amos 5:19-20:

“In that day you will be like a man who runs from a lion-only to meet a bear. Escaping from the bear, he leans his hand against a wall in his house- and he’s bitten by a snake. Yes, the day of the Lord will be dark and hopeless, without a ray of joy or hope.” (J. NLT)

READ Amos 5:24: “Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righ- teous living.” (J. NLT)

READ Zephaniah 1:12: “I will search with lan- terns in Jerusalem’s darkest corners to punish those who sit complacent in their sins. They think the Lord will do nothing to them, either good or bad.” (J. NLT)

READ 2 Corinthians 5:17-18:

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last for- ever.” (J. NLT)

When we read scripture, it is important for us to know that what has happened in the past also relates to what is happening in the present. God has forewarned us about false gods and the reper- cussions for worshipping them. It is a promise of God to save the people who have stood firm and remained true to God. For his direction is what we have to hold onto. We must know that God has planned all things far in advance. He will never break a promise. He holds true to pro- tecting his church or bride. He has all members of his body relying on one another to fulfill his plan of creating a new heavens and a new earth. This is prophecy. Prophecy is what we should all be focused on at this point in time. God could be standing right next to you, awaiting your call. He is the light, the way, and the truth. As we consider the things that we cannot see, we must know that the angels of God are all protecting us and on call for God. They are awaiting his command to do whatever he demands. This is the invisible battle that we cannot see, but we must be aware of the unseen in order to be strong enough to overcome any and all adversity.
