God’s Strong Judgment

Mary and Jesus After Crucifixion

Job 37:4-5 “After it a voice roareth: he thundereth wit the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. God thundereth marvelously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.”

Psalm 77:18 “The voice of thy thunder was in heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook…”

2 Samuel 22:14 “The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most high uttered his voice. And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.”

Exodus 19:16 “And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud; so that all people that was in the camp, trembled.”

Truth Revealed By God

Chapter: Adonai (Pages 11-14)

READ 2 Corinthians 3:15-18. But to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit (NASB).

READ Hebrews 11:13-16. All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but

having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is a heav- enly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them (NASB).

DEVOTIONAL

Our entire objective while living on this earth is to allow God’s Spirit to transform us into His image. By seeking to transform ourselves into the glory of God, we obtain an understanding and connection that supersedes all human understanding. If we consider Jesus and His transformation, we begin to understand the reason behind Him becoming fully human. Although He was and is God, He still does not regard Himself above the Father. He allowed God to demonstrate the transformation into His glory at the appointed time. Our job as believers is to be fruitful and multiply, creating cities and countries that are in the image of God, beholding His glory. We ought to consider the New Jerusalem written about by John in the Book of Revelation.

Truth Revealed By God

Chapter: Christ of God (Pages 96-99)

READ Nahum 1:2-3. A jealous and avenging God is the Lord; the Lord is avenging and wrathful. The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies. The Lord is slow to anger and great in power and the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. In whirlwind and storm is His way, and the clouds are the dust beneath His feet (NASB).

READ Psalm 50:2-6. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth. May our

God come and not keep silence; Fire devours before Him, and it is very tempestuous around Him. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, to judge His people: “Gather My godly ones to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” And the heavens declare righteousness, for God Himself is judge (NASB).

READ Revelation 6:15-17. And the kings of the earth and the great men and the com- manders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the moun- tains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day has come; and who is able to stand?” (NASB)

DEVOTIONAL

We have full confidence in the protection and wrath of God upon our adversaries. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end…With Him, all matters will be reconciled according to His judgment. Those who have partaken in wickedness and evil ways will endure the wrath that is to come. For we are all sinners and may ask for forgiveness, but for those who deny the Father and Son, the wrath of God is upon them. We look to Zion for her majestic beauty and we seek the New Jerusalem that God has built in one body of Christ. We see that fire is a term that God uses repeatedly throughout the Bible in descriptions of Himself. May all of the people of God seek His face and find peace with Him before their enemies. Then God will execute His strong judgment and the end will come. For in the end, all of the kings, rulers, and all leaders will honor the Creator and the sacrifice of His only begotten Son. The Lamb of God will have His day and the earth will be conquered in His glory.

God’s Secret: Disclosing God’s Hidden Truths of the Bible

Chapter: Nazarene (Pages 66-71)

READ Psalms 25:10-14:

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his cov- enant. For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land. The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. (NIV)

READ Proverbs 3:13-20:

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let the dew drop. (NIV)

 DEVOTIONAL

In reading these pieces of scripture, we gain understanding as to who is to inherit the kingdom of God. The land that God has laid is to be inher- ited by those who have put their trust in God. Every person who makes their home a sanctuary of God will be able to maintain their portion of what He has given them. The fear of the Lord is what we know to be the salvation of those who honor it. Living in fear of your adversary is what God does not want. God desires us to live in a state pleasing to him and to honor his demands. There will be no fear of persecution by those who have put their trust in God. Jesus controls our des- tiny and does away with any elect that does not adhere to what He commands. He is the author of the past, present, and future. At this point in time, God is taking over all acts of deception and immorality. God will condemn those who promote persecution upon innocent Christians. He will not stand for it. It is important to be aware of this fact. Wisdom, which is more precious than any material that we may obtain, is gained by studying the Word of God—this is where we gain our peace and understanding. Eternal life is what we seek, and we should know that by discovering Jesus we are able to gain it. The tree of life is where we gain our long and eternal life. Christ is the tree of life that is written about in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 22:1-3

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will their be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. (NIV)

The tree of life can also be recognized with the seal of the Living God. The seal may be recognized as one with twelve parts, all equal, that are symbolic of the twelve crops of fruit, yielding fruit for all twelve months. This is where we must see the difference between the world and God. Seals have existed for ages, but the one seal that we must seek out is that of the Living God. The seal can also be associated with brand marks. The brand marks that Jesus bears can be evidence that he is the Son of God. For us to know this seal is to know the truth, and it is hidden unless the seeker is part of the body of Christ. This seal also represents the persecution and suffering that Jesus endured. It is one important part of his body that also tells the name that is written on Him, that no one knows but Himself. This seal also may indicate the New Jerusalem descending from heaven bearing bright and beautiful colors. This is a very important part of prophecy. This name is that by which the entire world was created, and it is God’s hidden truth, His secret. In the Bible it says, “blessed are those who believed without seeing…” This truth may be applied here as well. In the end, there will be indications of the Son of God, and connecting the dots will be our job. There are certain obvious indicators, but most of the truth will be hidden from the ungodly world. However, it is Jesus’s wish that all be saved.
