Truth Revealed By God
Chapter: (Elohim-vii-viii) Key Note: Fire=Elohim=301
READ Philippians 3:7-11. But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them rubbish in order that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead (NASB).
In reading this passage, I know that I have always strived to achieve a sense of righ- teousness. Not a righteousness of my own, but a righteousness from God. We all suffer from different events in our lives, but it is our choice to live or allow the burden to drag us down. My faith has carried me through the toughest of times. Times when I felt as though the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I found my peace through God who gives us all of the strength that we need in order to live happy and fulfilling lives. It is necessary to comprehend the resurrection of the dead in order to understand the meaning of life. For living life as dead is full of anxiety and distress or darkness. Living a life of light is understanding that God is in control. Let go and let God do the work. He asks for your trust. It is our job to put our faith to the test and allow God to intervene. In my life, through my trials and tribulations, I was forced to allow things to happen according to God’s purpose. In these events, I gained strength that I never knew that I possessed. Discovering this new strength was as if I had been reborn. I felt as though God was using His very hands to mold me into the man that I am today. I continue to grow in a spiritual sense as well as physically. God works on us when we seek Him. His Spirit is what directs us and leads us into an understanding of heavenly things. Lean on God and all things will fall into place, according to His purpose…
God’s Secret: Disclosing God’s Hidden Truths of the Bible
Chapter: Radiance Of God’s Glory (Pages 97-102…)
READ Romans 8:1-6:
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind gov- erned by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. (NIV)
For in this life there is a place to find eternity and that is through Jesus. Jesus gives everyone the choice and it is our job to find that life and peace. We do not want to be condemned by the flesh, but revived by the Spirit. That is the overall objective in life: to be rejuvenated by the Holy Spirit. Do not be led into death, but find life through Christ, for He is the way out, and the way that some will never see death. Even though the Earth may be consumed by darkness, the light of God will brighten the day for those who know Jesus. Those who do not worship Christ will be consumed in utter darkness and condemned by the judgment of God. No one wants to be in this position. Know the light, seek the light, and trust in the light, for it will illumine all of those who go near it and will consume the evil that dares to approach it. Know that God is eliminating all of the temptation and will justly do away with the workers of destruction as opposed to the workers of truth and discernment. Do not fall into destruction. God is glorifying the place of His dwelling and preparing a place for His new heavens. He is preparing a place for His new throne, for God is making all things new at this very moment. Try not to get caught up in everyday problems. Problems exist, but with God’s help and His direction we are kept safe and secure. We are kept in a state that is not overcome with anxiety, worry, and fear.
Isaiah 63:1 “…Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.” (NIV)
In reading Isaiah 63 we see that God’s day of vengeance and redemption is at hand. This may also apply to the last book of the New Testament, Revelation. “I have trodden down the winepress alone; from the nations no one was with me.” (Isaiah 63:3). This all can be applied to Jesus overcoming the evil of the world in the end! The living breathing Word of God can reveal to us what we cannot comprehend or understand. Jesus can make it clear when it seems vague or misunderstood. This clarity comes from the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 65:1-2: “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here I am, here am I.” All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations– (NIV)
God mentions eternal life time and time again. He mentions seeking Him in order to inherit the kingdom of God. How would we know God if He were to reveal Himself to us? How might we recognize Him? Imagine all of the clarity and discernment that comes along with God. Imagine the body of Christ that has all of the gifts of heaven. Imagine a nation being born in a day—a new nation full of life and prosperity. Yes, a country can be born in a day. It is up to God as to when that will happen, but, it is written. I think of God as the great author; He perfects all. He is a master at details and He wrote it, so he can also interpret it all. At least we know that God inspired the entire Bible. One day we will have His Son to tell us the whole truth and what we must do in order to get to heaven and live in an Eternal state. Who knows when that might be? That is the question; but look, see, hear, and tell…
