The Great Counselor

Truth Revealed By God

Chapter: All In All {Pages (38)-42}

READ John 1:2-5. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came in being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it(NASB).

READ Colossians 1:13-15. For he delivered us from the domain of darkness, and trans- ferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation (NASB).

READ Ephesians 4:5-6. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all (NASB).

READ Romans 11:34-36. FOR WHO HAS KNOW THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? OR WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen (NASB).

READ Isaiah 11:4-6. But with righteous- ness He will judge the poor, and decide with

fairness for the afflicted of the earth; and He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. Also, righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist. And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid, and the calf with the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them (NASB).

A s we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is in all and through all, we are brought into a new light of understanding that we all have a role to fill in the grand plan that God has put together in which all of those who believe will be transferred into His kingdom. For from him and through Him and to Him are all things (Romans 11..). This is one of the most powerful pieces of scripture that we can read throughout the entire Bible. All things came into being through His Son whom He sent into the world. He became fully human

and committed no sin. He was perfect unto the point of death on a cross. To Him we give the honor and glory, in order that we are rewarded with His knowledge of how to live according to the Father. He is in all, meaning that He is omnipresent. He is the spirit that dwells inside of us, where we get the feeling of clarity and peace. His spirit is different than any other, meaning that His spirit takes away all of the evil desire and hostility of mind. Being gentle and humble are qualities of God’s spirit. Remember, that during a time of spiritual persecution, God’s spirit overcomes all by us seeking Him through His word and in prayer, especially by us walking the path that He has set out before us, or to follow the straight and narrow path that leads to salvation.

Truth Revealed By God

Chapter: Blessed and Holy Ruler {Pages 79-(82)…}

READ 1 Corinthians 6:14-18. Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? May it never be! Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a harlot is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO WILL BECOME ONE FLESH.” But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body (NASB).

READ Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless (NASB).

I believe that respecting the relationship that we are in, specifically marriage, is crucial to honoring God. It is important for both parties to be on the same page and to carry that example out into the world. Do not be concerned about material things, but be con- cerned about the family that God has blessed you with. If you seek God and include Him in your work, everything will work out for you in one way or another. Marriage is work and it is not always easy, but by asking the Holy Spirit to intervene, God can help you to overcome all obstacles and problems that you might face. In the union of marriage, we

give our entire self to one another. This specifically pertains to mind, body, and spirit. Your body is a temple and a dwelling place for God.

We are not to destroy our bodies, but instead we are to build ourselves up into strong foundations. Trust is the key to a strong relationship. Without trust, nothing else works. It is important to be fruitful and to be honorable as well as respectful to your spouse. Remain pure and focus on positivity, rather than immorality and negativity. Using the word (which is also recognized to God as prayer) to wash us from our sin is what God desires for us in order that we may be glorified as one church under God.
