Eye of GodTruth Revealed By God

Chapter: God Who Sees Me (Pages 146-148)

READ Revelation 21:7. He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son (NASB).

READ Philippians 2:5-11. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though, He was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and (Key) “died a criminal’s death on a cross.” Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (J. NLT).

READ John 14:1-3. “Don’t let your hearts be troubled in. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going” (J. NLT).

READ Revelation 9:7-11. The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. They had what looked like gold crowns on their heads, and their faces looked like human faces. They had hair like women’s hair and teeth like the teeth of a lion. They wore armor made of iron, and their wings roared like an army of chariots rushing into battle. They had tails that stung like scorpions, and for five months they had the power to torment people. Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon- the Destroyer (J. NLT).

DEVOTIONAL

We know that Jesus did not regard Himself as God, but humbled Himself to become fully human. We know that Jesus did not come into the world the first time to judge the world, but rather to save the world. However, during the Second Coming, we see that Jesus executes full judgment and saves those who have remained faithful to the end. We read, “He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son.” We should know that during the time of persecution of the church, as the body of Jesus Christ, we shall endure many things. There will be deceit, lying, betrayal, false prophets, and false leaders. We are to ensure that we do not fall into a trap laid out before us to be confused or get off track. We must remain true to God. How do we know

who to trust and to follow? We will know Jesus, and He will be our safety and clarity as to all matters. He knows the ways of the devil and can teach us how to overcome the spiritual battles, which specifically are those of the mind. This is why it is essential to seek out a deeper understanding of what God needs from us as one unified body. For in that one body and home, there is room for all of those who seek Christ and believe in His name.

You can also think about it like this: God is forming a body into a state of beauty and per- fection. This body will be our salvation and our example. The reason that I referenced the scripture from revelation 9 is to remind everyone of what is to take place and may already be taking place. The angel of the bottomless pit is under God’s control and will accomplish God’s will. This is why we must find Jesus and not ignore prophecy. We need peace of mind and we need sound truth.

Truth Revealed By God

Chapter: Wall of Fire {Pages 109-(113)…}

READ Isaiah 25:8-9. He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord will wipe tears away from all faces, and He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth. And it will be said in that day, Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation (NASB).

READ Isaiah 62:2. And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory;

and you will be called by a new name which the mouth of the LORD will designate (NASB).

READ Isaiah 62:12. And they will call them, “the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord”; And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken” (NASB).

READ Isaiah 61:3. To grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glori- fied (NASB).

READ Revelation 7:10-12. …and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” (NASB)

DEVOTIONAL

For in this new creation, there will no longer be any suffering, heartache, or mourning. For in one day, God will rescue all His people and there will be shouts of joy to the heavens. We will no longer wait, but we will see His majesty. And the New Holy City will be marvelous with all of the glory of God shining in full brilliance. The city will be filled with vast amounts of oaks of righteousness and trees that will last for many years. Fear will leave and instead, praise will be filling the streets and sung out by the voices of all

the people (Music that takes us to another level from all Tribes of the Earth…) The Lamb will be the center of it all and the four living creatures will be there along with the elders rejoicing and singing psalms of praise. There will be wisdom like there has never been and all will reign with God eternally.
