God knows all. He knows our intentions and our reasons for actions. I believe in Him, and by studying His word every day, I am being drawn closer to Him. Throughout my life, I have undergone many tough decisions, and I can say today that it has not been easy. Since I was a child, it has been this way. Being twenty- nine years old I am still learning a great deal each day through the challenges that I face. I know that these challenges and the choices that I make inevitably affect the world around me.
As a true servant of God, I know that He has called me to be an example. I strive in all ways to be this example, and I ask Him for guidance each morning as I rise. I rise each day to help those around me to the best of my ability. I am here to help and to guide. I am by no means ever trying to lead anyone astray. I cannot stand to see people being led astray by those who have devised wicked plans.
Of all the things that I have witnessed in my life, this is what stands out the most. I am here to set things right with the help of God. He is in charge, and I do nothing on my own account, but I listen to Him. By truly seeking His word, we can more easily discern between those who have attempted to destroy through very subtle tactics in creating their own word of truth. Through His word, we obtain peace and find answers
to all questions. To know that many have gone out into the world in an attempt to rewrite the original Holy Bible, which was totally inspired by God long ago, is to know the reality of the world that we live in.
We must study the oldest copies available and make comparisons to the new versions, which have gone out into the world. Do not be fooled for there are many who have attempted to deceive with this method.
Finding a Bible such as the New American Standard Bible which has both the Hebrew and Greek meanings of key words throughout is where we find how the message was intended to be communicated. For our own translations can be easily miscommunicated due to a means of justifying the world that we live in…However, we may also find this method of translating to be a type of testing…Are we able to discover the true words of God? Can we hear what he was attempting to communicate through his faithful servants who wrote the Bible? We must be aware that the world that we live in contains so much deception even in our churches. This is the reality. Many are being deceived because they simply do not put the time or effort into reading it for themselves.
In this case it is easy to be led astray. God expects more of us than just attending a service. He expects us to find Him through our own personal Bible study. Bible study must be a part of our daily lives. Many things have changed for the worse, and we must be aware that there are antichrists all over. They have infiltrated our lives in every way imaginable.
“And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borns witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape…And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scitptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life…”
Role of the Spirit
I know that there have been times in my life that I have struggled with understanding what living in the Spirit is all about. It is a work in progress through which we come to know the Father on a personal level. It is a type of comprehension that does not require full explanation. It is knowing that everything that happens is for a significant reason in fulfilling our purpose while here on earth. It is knowing that God has bigger plans for us than we have ever dreamed or imagined. He knows us by name—each and every person.
By trusting in Him, we are able to figure out the full meaning of life. We are able to see beyond the world that surrounds us into a new light—a light that shines vividly through all darkness and confusion; a light that gives us awareness and discernment; and the light that overcomes in the time of testing and in the end is victorious. Jesus is the light of the world.
Again therefore Jesus spoke to them saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said to Him,” You are bearing witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.” Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true; for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from, or where I am going. You people judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and He who sent Me. Even in your law it has been written, that the testimony of two men is true. I am He who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.
For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrif ice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under the foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctif ied, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again, “The Lord Will Judge His People.” It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
If you had known Me, you would have known My father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him…Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His

works. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; otherwise believe on account of the works themselves.
John 14:7, 10–11
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides in you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you will behold Me; because I live you shall live also. In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.
And because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me-to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I entreated the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore,
John David Harwood
I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with diff iculties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
